Week 2 of the 2013 season saw Aaron Fox take home the FST Sand and Gravel Night Scratch Main event.
Aaron selected gate 5 in the draw allowing Josh Larsen select gate 1. The race had to be restarted after
Buck Blair was excluded for touching the tapes. On the restart Josh Larsen got off the line first with Aaron on
the outside of him going into turn one. Aaron made the move stick and never looked back. Shawn McConnel
who was celebrating his birthday got by Josh Larsen to finish second. Josh Larsen finsihed third and
Russell Green fourth. Dillon Osbourne was awarded the Support Main event after rider 310 Tom Summers
fell in turn four and the race had to be stopped. Nothern California rider Luke Becker was able to pass
Dryden Gayle on the last lap to win the 250cc Youth Main event. Sebastian Palmese got the holeshot and
won the 150cc Youth Main event. Charlie Larsen won the PeeWee Main event. See full results

Pirate Speedway opened its 2013 season on Friday April 19 to a capacity crowd. The crowd was treated to
an exciting night of Speedway and Sidecar racing that saw Billy "The Bullet" Hamill capture the Scratch Main
Event and rookie first division rider Max Ruml take a quick lead in the Handicap Main event an hold off the
field for 8 laps to win. See full results

Saturday June 8 - Costa Mesa Speedway - OC Fair & Expo Costa Mesa, CA.
Saturday August 3 - Industry Racing - Industry Hills Expo Center Industry, CA.
Friday August 9 - Pirate Speedway - National Orange Show San Bernardino, CA.
